Skype played a big part in the novel Mark Perini co-wrote
with Juile Cross.
“it was Halloween in 2012 when Julie and I put the final
words on the page to the first draft of our co-authored novel “Halfway
Perfect”, Perini writes over on the Skype Play Blog.””fast forward to early
2013. ‘Halfway Perfect’ was complete and we were preparing it for sale. This
meant picking it apart, trimming, streamlining and shaping it to make the words
and characters leap even further from the page. Julie and I talked nearly every
day during the process. Email is amazing, it truly is, but to create this type
of emotionally deep story you need to be face-to-face or voice to voice – even
when you are on the other side of world. With Skype chats and call, our
communication was not hindered at all by the fact I was working in china for
three months during the crucial phase of publication.”
